In addition, there are no contrasty, dark shadows where noise lurks. More signal equals less noise in the final images. We can give the camera sensor as much signal as the darkness of the night sky allows. As such, exposures can now be many minutes long if needed.

Why is this an easier task? The camera is now on a tracking mount (I used the new Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer Mini) which is polar aligned to follow the rotation of the sky. It's 2.5EV better then the 5D MkII and 1EV better than the 5D MkIII (all comparisons using center AF zone).

As for the 750D (which does not yet exist), if you want a camera with super AF, it won't be the 750D. You can have whatever you want (almost) if you're willing to pay for it. Then you'd have a 5D MkIII, at the price of a 5D MkIII, not a camera with the image quality of a 6D at the price of a 6D. Had Canon done away with that and concentrated in NOT dumbing-down other features (like focusing), I would by one in a heartbeat.
